Summer festivities are best enjoyed with an ice-cold fruity beverage. I whipped up a pitcher of this classic, chilled beverage to celebrate our wedding anniversary and Independence Day.
Do you love vintage glassware, plates, and linens? If so, you’ll love perusing the lovely vintage ware from my personal collection, I used to style each color photograph in this book.
In keeping with the style of the book photographs, I selected my favorite vintage glass pitcher. It has a cardinal bird on one side and a bluejay on the other. It reminds me of the gorgeous array of birds we are blessed to see as they dine frequently on the sunflower seeds in the bird feeder in our yard.
Strawberry Limeade Blender Recipe
Yield: 6 cups
4 cups spring water, or your choice
½ cup lime juice
½ cup strawberries, fresh or frozen
Your choice of sweetener: ½ tsp. stevia powder, ½ cup monk fruit, liquid stevia to taste, etc.
Add above ingredients to blender and mix on high until beverage is smooth. (I use a Vitamix.)
Allow the container to sit on the counter a moment as the frothy top settles. Or run the blender again at low speed.
Serve in festive glasses over crushed ice or chill before serving and enjoy!
